One-week deadline for resisting the Zionist regime

Hamas and other Palestinian resistance groups set a one-week deadline for the Zionist regime and announced that if the regime continues to delay initiating reconstruction in Gaza and easing the siege, it may escalate tensions with the regime from next week.

According to Pak Sahafat news agency, Palestinian sources told Al-Mayadin that as a mediator between the Palestinian and Israeli sides, Egypt has not had a positive and constructive interaction with Hamas’s recent approach to rebuilding Gaza and easing the siege.

According to these sources, the reconstruction operation in Gaza has been deliberately delayed, and any progress in this regard has been linked to reaching a comprehensive agreement in line with the position and demands of the Zionist side.

Meanwhile, a Hamas leader told Al Jazeera on Monday evening that the political leaders of this movement and the military council of the Qassam Brigades are considering the option of a military confrontation with the Zionist enemy amid the continuing siege and delay in starting the reconstruction of Gaza and the Zionist side’s disregard for its commitments after the cessation of the 11-day war in the region.

He stressed that the continuation of the Israeli occupiers’ aggression against Al-Aqsa Mosque and the intensification of the repression of Palestinian prisoners will cause an explosion, stressing that we will never allow the current situation to continue and that we will prove our professionalism in practice.

According to the Palestinian Information Center, the Hamas leader also stated that his movement is not at all satisfied with Egypt’s actions as a mediator and its delay in fulfilling its promises to Gaza.
