Despite the measures taken by the authorities, there are daily reports of more people being infected with Covid-19 during the Tokyo Olympics.
In the past 24 hours, at least 16 people involved in the Tokyo Olympics have contracted Covid-19 disease, according to Reuters.
Three of these people are athletes living in the Olympic Village. Accordingly, the total number of cases of coronavirus infection among those involved in these games has reached 153.
A state of emergency has been in place in Tokyo since June 12 due to the deteriorating situation in Corona. For this reason, the Olympic Games will be held in the Japanese capital from July 23 to August 8 without spectators.
