Netanyahu: Stopping Iran’s nuclear program is my priority in the future

Claiming that the anti-Iranian positions of several Arab countries led to compromise agreements, the Israeli prime minister said that stopping Iran’s nuclear program would be a priority for his future cabinet.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reiterated baseless allegations about anti-Iranian reasons for signing compromise agreements with Arab countries.

In an interview with the Jerusalem Post this morning (Wednesday, Iranian time), Netanyahu claimed that the anti-Iranian positions of the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Sudan and the Maghreb had led them to compromise and normalize relations with Israel.

He said about this: “This (confrontation with Iran) is what was central. It was he who brought them to Israel. They saw Israel not only as a source of technology for everything, but also as Israel confronted Iran, a country that threatened them. “[Iran] threatens us more, with annihilation, but they (Arab countries) realized that Israel is an essential ally for them.”

According to the Jerusalem Post, the Israeli prime minister went on to discuss his plans for the next term of the prime minister if he wins the upcoming elections, claiming that stopping Iran’s nuclear program is one of his priorities.

Reiterating his opposition to the Iran nuclear deal, Netanyahu claimed: “Because of what I did, Iran was pushed back for years, and again because of what I will do, they will never get nuclear weapons. As long as I am prime minister, Iran will not have an atomic bomb.”

He had previously claimed that Iran was Israel’s biggest enemy: “I am determined to stop Iran, we are hitting them all over the region (Middle East).”

The Zionist regime accuses Iran of trying to build a nuclear weapon, which, according to regional and international experts, Israel itself has about 400 nuclear warheads;

Yesterday, Israeli Intelligence Minister Eli Cohen accused Iran of supporting terrorism, claiming that the possible lifting of US sanctions against the country would increase such support.
