Netanyahu failed to form a cabinet

As Tuesday’s deadline was Benjamin Netanyahu’s deadline to form a cabinet, he failed to get the support needed to form a cabinet in the Knesset, and now the Israeli president must decide on the next step.

Rovin Rivlin the head of the Zionist regime’s mission to oust Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to form a cabinet ended at midnight on Tuesday, and Netanyahu was unable to obtain the support needed to form a cabinet to end the political stalemate in the occupied territories. It has continued to hold four elections in the Occupied Territories in less than two years.

By law, Rivlin now has three days to decide whether to give the opportunity to Yash Lapid, the leader of the Yash Atid party, or Naftali Bennett, the leader of the Yamina party, or to the Knesset to find someone in the Knesset who can win the support of 61 seats to form a coalition cabinet.

The Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday that his 15-year term as prime minister would end if Netanyahu missed the midnight deadline and was unable to form a cabinet.

Neither Netanyahu nor any of his rivals were able to form a cabinet after another mid-term election in occupied Palestine in March, but a majority of Israeli lawmakers agreed that the president should reappoint Netanyahu.

After weeks of consultations with various parties, Netanyahu made various proposals, including a temporary resignation, but these proposals do not seem to have helped him resolve his opposition to the prime minister, and he will probably not be able to form a cabinet.

If Netanyahu is unable to form a coalition, he should hope that his rivals will not be able to do so, forcing the Zionist regime to hold its fifth election since 2019. Such a scenario would keep Netanyahu, who has been on trial in corruption cases since May 2020, in power for at least a few more months.
