Ma’rib tribes join Ansarullah in expulsion of Saudi-Emirati occupiers

A number of sheikhs of the Ma’rib tribes held a meeting and stressed that they had launched a strategic operation to liberate the city, along with the army and popular committees.

Coinciding with international pressure to prevent the liberation of the Yemeni city of Ma’rib, the process of practical participation of the province’s tribes in military operations has begun.

Al-Akhbar newspaper reported, The Sanaa government is trying to dismantle the forces of the resigned Yemeni government and accelerate this process by negotiating with the Ubaydah, Murad and Jahm tribes; In the past few days, several treaties have been signed with the elders of Obaida.

According to the newspaper, the Al-Islah party – affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood – recently held a meeting between its affiliated tribes. A number of Ma’rib sheikhs who recently joined the Yemeni army held a meeting in Sanaa in response to the reform meeting.

According to the report, the sheikhs stressed the importance of freeing Ma’rib from terrorists who were transferred from outside Ma’rib to the province so that they could defend the interests of their masters.

“Naji al-Masri”, one of the sheikhs of Jahm Ma’rib tribe, emphasized in this meeting that the Yemeni people and leaders were determined to liberate Ma’rib; However, the cry of the aggressor Emirati-Saudi coalition for this freedom is loud.

Al-Masri said: “The sons of Marib will liberate this city … Whoever is among the residents of this province in the ranks of the reformed militias will stop fighting.”

He stated that the reformist militias are looting the resources and wealth of the Ma’ribs, killing the children of this city, and pretending to the international community that the liberators of the Ma’ribs are “aggressors.”

The Yemeni sheikh noted: “Since we were born, we have not heard that in the laws and traditions of the world, human beings are forbidden from liberating their land. “Blackmail will not prevent our province from being liberated from the filth of occupation.”

Al-Masri also stressed that Marib is neither an American state nor a British province, and that the liberation operation will continue.

Sheikh “Saeed Salameh”, one of the sheikhs of “Al-Jadaan” tribe, also said in this regard: “Marib has been occupied for the past six years, and its children are exposed to the most heinous crimes.”

Emphasizing the liberation of Marib by the children of this city, Salameh noted: “No one can stop us in this.”

“Nasser Al-Aqra”, one of the prominent sheikhs of Al-Jadaan, also said: “This operation is to oust the occupier and the children of this province will not be targeted in any way.”
