Mahathir Mohammad: If the people of Malaysia want, I will accept the responsibility of the prime minister

Pak Sahafat – Former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohammad announced that if a suitable person does not nominate himself for the position of Prime Minister he is ready to take this responsibility.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency from “Russia Elium” network, the Straits Times of Malaysia reported that he said in an interview session in Bangui that if elected as Mali’s prime minister, he would only be willing to serve for one year, not for a full term.

Mahathir Mohammad added: If there is an insistence from the people of Malaysia to assume the position of Prime Minister again, it will be difficult for me to think only about my own interests, and if there are no suitable candidates for the position and my countrymen still insist on accepting my responsibility.

The former Prime Minister of Malaysia stated that of course he prefers to take a break rather than directly enter Malaysian politics.
