Pak Sahafat – Polls indicate a three percent decrease in the confidence of the French people in their country’s president.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency’s report from the French newspaper “Le Figaro”, while Emmanuel Macron is set to introduce major reforms in the coming weeks, particularly on pensions, the latest polls show public trust in him at 35 percent, down 3 percentage points in a month.

This report, quoting Macron’s relatives, adds that he has no intention of failing to implement the reform program, which was one of his election promises.

One of these people told Figaro reporter: Macron wants to leave the image of the reformer president in history and he will do it at any cost.

This report states: It seems that the implementation of the law on increasing the retirement age in the political and social arena is not easy for Macron.

Surveys show that the level of distrust of the pensioners in Macron has increased by 9% to 54%. Even the level of trust in the president in the rich class is not high. The level of trust in Macron has reached 48% with a 3% decrease, and the distrust rate has increased by 3% to 50%.

The French presidential election was held twice this spring. In the first round, Macron got 27.6% of the votes and Marine Le Pen got to the second round with 23%. The second round was held on April 24, and during it, Macron won with 58.55% against Le Pen’s 41.45%.
