Lavrov: Western leaders have bigoted illusions

Pak Sahafat – Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has sharply criticized Western leaders, saying they are arrogant in addition to their imaginary distortions.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency, Lavrov said in an interview with Russia Today that Western leaders consider themselves exceptional and have been influenced by their illusions of arrogance and irrational fears.

In an interview published on Wednesday, but recently published, the Russian Foreign Minister emphasized: We know our western friends have many phobias and complications. They have a superiority and invincibility, and I believe they also have some paranoia.

Referring to the economic integration groups and organizations in the region in which Russia participates, he explained: Any process that does not involve the West and is not controlled by the West is seen by Westerners as an opposition and a challenge to its domination. Lavrov: We do not intend to change the Ukrainian regime; this is in the expertise of the United States

The remarks came as Moscow opposed the United States and its allies, accusing them of imposing their will on other countries through obscene means. The senior Russian diplomat said that trying to punish Russia with economic sanctions and diplomatic isolation, in which Washington wants to involve the whole world, is the latest example of the imposition of Western will.

The Russian Foreign Minister added: The insolence of the Anglo-Saxon alliance knows no bounds, and we are affirming it every day. Every day, the West sends its representatives and envoys to every capital, without exception, to issue ultimatums and extort money.

Lavrov expressed satisfaction that most countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America are resisting this pressure. He continued: These countries do not want to jeopardize their national dignity and serve as servants on behalf of the West.

In another part of his remarks, the Russian Foreign Minister referred to the policies of the West and said: For more than 500 years, the West has been sitting on a chair, colonizing and creating its own laws.

Lavrov continued: If we look at the borders drawn in African countries, the West drew the borders using a ruler and a pencil. The West wants to continue this situation, but it will fail.
