The foreign ministers of Russia and the Zionist regime spoke on the phone today about the situation in the region, including the developments in Palestine and the situation in Syria.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and his Israeli counterpart Yair Lapid discussed telephone developments in the Middle East, including the settlement of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and the Syrian issue.
Russia’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement that Lavrov and Lapid held a telephone conversation on Friday at the initiative of the Israeli side.
According to the statement, Lavrov expressed readiness to work together to strengthen multilateral and mutually beneficial cooperation between Russia and Israel.
The statement said: On the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and Israel, Lavrov and Lapid discussed important tasks on the bilateral agenda.
According to the statement, the two ministers also discussed developments in the Middle East and North Africa, including the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and the situation in Syria, as well as the expected bilateral contacts program.
