Launching a support movement for Palestine in Kuwait

Pak Sahafat – The Kuwaiti Youth Association in Kuwait has announced the launch of a voluntary campaign in the country to support the Palestinian cause and to counter the aggression of the Zionist occupiers in Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque.

According to the Pak Sahafat news agency on Wednesday, Youssef Al-Kandari, head of the association’s executive office, said the aim of the campaign was to mobilize the capabilities, talents and skills of young people to implement programs to support the resistance and stability of the Palestinian people and to counter the aggression of the Zionist occupying enemy.

Al-Kandari stated that in the second phase, a large gathering will be held through the Zoom program to provide volunteer support to the Palestinian people.

Referring to the remarks of former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, who said that the Arab nations are the biggest obstacle in front of us, he stressed that the campaign was launched with the slogan “Be an obstacle”.

Al-Kandari said that in response to Barak’s remarks, we call on all Arab youth to turn their backs on the occupying regime in Jerusalem.

Unlike some compromising Arab rulers, Kuwait has adopted a policy of opposing the normalization of relations with Israel. Officials have always expressed support for the Palestinian cause and rejected the normalization of relations with Israel.

In the same context, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Information officially banned the screening of Death on the Nile on February 7, due to the fact that it was played by a former female soldier of the Zionist army.

In early February, a Kuwaiti teenage tennis player aroused the admiration of many social activists for not appearing against a tennis player from the occupying regime in Jerusalem.

Kuwaiti teen tennis player Mohammed al-Awzi withdrew from a match with a player from the occupying regime in Jerusalem in the semi-finals of the Dubai Under-14 International Professional Championship.
