Israel’s war minister orders confiscation of Hamas e-wallet

The Israeli Minister of War has ordered the seizure of digital currency wallets, which Hamas is allegedly using to finance its activities.

According to Sputnik, the press service of the Israeli Minister of War claimed on Thursday that “The Israeli National Security Agency, the Israeli National Anti-Terrorism Agency, the Israeli Ministry of War and the Israeli police discovered in a joint operation a network of digital currency wallets used by Hamas to secure bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies.

The spy agency of the occupying regime in Jerusalem claimed in a report that in recent months the Hamas movement has used an online campaign to raise funds in the form of bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies to fund its military branch.

According to some reports, the fundraising campaign had reached its peak during the 12-day Gaza war.

The following statement is claimed: “The arrest warrant, signed by Secretary Gantz [the Minister of War], establishes a judicial procedure that will allow the military institution (Zionist regime) to freeze the virtual assets of this terrorist organization (Hamas).”
