Israeli journalist’s shock of Bin Salman’s remarks

An Israeli journalist, after the remarks of the Saudi Crown Prince in which he said, “Saudi Arabia does not consider Israel an enemy, but sees it as a potential partner,” he wrote a letter of thanks to the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia for his statement.

According to Pak Sahafat News agency, quoting Al-Quds Al-Arabi, in a video posted on his Twitter account, Israeli journalist Eddie Cohen thanked Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for saying he did not consider Israel an enemy but looked at it as a potential partner.

“In the video, he said in Arabic,” “This is my message to the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, thank you for not considering Israel as your enemy.”

He went on to say that, as I have said over and over again over the years, there is no difference between Israel and Saudi Arabia.

Cohen added in the video; “In your name and in the name of many Israelis, thank you. We have no differences with you Saudis and we hope to see normalization of our relations soon.”

In an interview, bin Salman said in response to a question about whether he believes that Saudi Arabia should follow the example of some Arab countries in establishing diplomatic relations and normalizing relations with Israel: We hope that the problem between the Israelis and the Palestinians will be resolved.

He added: We do not see Israel as an enemy, but as a potential partner in many of the interests we can pursue together, but some issues, such as the Palestinian issue, must be resolved before it can be achieved.
