According to this report, Al-Aqili further added: “Mohammed Shia al-Sudani”, the Prime Minister of Iraq, has made Faw port and the agreement with China the priority of his government’s plan for the next stage in order to revive Iraq economically and implement projects in the future.

He clarified: Some foreign parties are seeking to create an obstacle in the completion of Faw port and its non-completion by Iraq in order to achieve some interests, especially that the improvement of Iraq’s economic situation is not liked by America.

Iraqi political analyst noted: America has started to disrupt the road, especially after the meeting between Sudanese and the President of China to discuss the cooperation between the two countries in the “Belt and Road” project and various projects. America, which intends to stand up to China and the countries cooperating with China, is not satisfied with Iraq’s closeness to China and the expansion of cooperation between the two sides.
