International efforts to achieve a just solution for the rights of the Palestinian people should be increased

Pak Sahafat – Foreign ministers of the Non-Aligned Movement called for more international efforts to achieve a just solution in order to ensure the rights of the Palestinian people, including the right to self-determination and end the suffering of Palestinian refugees.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency’s report from Foreign Policy Department, the Foreign Ministers of the Non-Aligned Movement issued a statement after the end of their two-day meeting in Baku, the capital of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

In this statement, it is stated: “We, the foreign ministers of the movement, have condemned the non-commitment of applying and implementing unilateral coercive measures against the member countries of the movement, and it is a violation of the United Nations Charter and international law, especially principles such as non-interference in internal affairs, the right to self-determination and independence.

The statement added: Also, in this connection, we declare our will and desire to condemn and completely, immediately and unconditionally stop these actions that affect human rights and hinder the full economic and social development of the nations under sanctions.

Foreign ministers of the Non-Aligned Movement have emphasized in this statement that finding a just, stable and peaceful solution to the Palestinian issue and all aspects related to it based on the parameters approved by the international community in the relevant UN resolutions should remain the priority of the Non-Aligned Movement agenda, and this issue and all aspects related to it will remain a permanent responsibility of the United Nations until it is satisfactorily resolved in compliance with international law and relevant UN resolutions.

The statement noted: We, the Foreign Ministers of the Non-Commitment Movement, have condemned the most severe recent abhorrent offense against the holy area of ​​the Holy Quran in the Kingdom of Sweden on the first day of Eid al-Adha 1444 in front of the central mosque of Stockholm and expressed our disgust for the repetition of insulting acts against the Holy Quran and deeply regret that the Swedish authorities have given permission to do this.
