The cabinet of the Zionist government finally agreed to increase the price of bread after facing the flood of sudden increase in the price of bread in the occupied territory.
According to the report of the international group of Pak Sahafat news agency, the Ministry of Economy and Industry of the Zionist regime announced on Wednesday last week, at the same time as Joe Biden’s trip to Tel Aviv, its decision to increase the price of bread by 20% with the aim of curbing the excessive increase in the price of this product.
This ministry has announced that the increase in the price of bread is due to the increase in the price of food products in the world markets, which has affected the production costs. The new price of bread will be applied from this Sunday.

In the past weeks, many bread producers in the occupied territory protested against the stabilization of the price of bread by the cabinet, and arbitrarily increased the price of bread. This had become one of the pressure tools of the Israeli opposition led by Benjamin Netanyahu against Yair Lapid.

Last week, an Israeli political delegation went to Kazakhstan to start consultations with the Kazakh authorities with the aim of buying wheat from this country. More than 70% of the wheat consumed in the occupied territories was supplied from Russia and Ukraine before the start of the war in Ukraine, and as a result of this war, it is not possible to supply it now.
Since the beginning of the Ukraine crisis, the price of flour in Israel has increased by 63% from $380 per ton to more than $600. On Monday last week, the Occupied Territories Electricity Company also announced an increase in electricity prices from August this year. It is expected that the water and sewage company will increase the cost of water consumption for consumers in the occupied territories within the current weeks.
