Pak Sahafat – AFP reported: French President Emmanuel Macron is going to meet Saudi Crown Prince Bin Salman in Paris, ignoring human rights violations.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency’s report, The French news agency, publishing this news from Paris, added: French President Emmanuel Macron, despite criticism that this invitation was completely inappropriate and ignored the murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi about four years ago; On Thursday, he will host Mohammed bin Salman in Paris.

AFP reported: This meeting is the latest action in the international arena in accepting bin Salman as the main official in Saudi Arabia, after the meeting of the US President Joe Biden with him earlier this month, the topics of this meeting also revolved around energy and concerns about the lack of electricity due to Russia’s attack on Ukraine will also be a regional issue.

At the same time, Agnes Callamard, Secretary General of Amnesty International, told AFP about this meeting: “I am deeply saddened by this meeting, because what does this meeting mean for the world and what does it mean for Jamal (Khasgji) and people like him, because bin Salman is a person who does not tolerate any opposition.”

Bin Salman is currently on a European trip, he arrived in Greece last Tuesday and after that he is going to go to France.

During his visit to Athens, bin Salman discussed with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakas Mitsotakis about ways to expand relations between the two countries in all fields and exchanged views on the current regional and international situation. They emphasized a strategy between the two countries in the fields of tourism, culture, construction, health, education, sports, military and defense.

The Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia and the Prime Minister of Greece agreed to increase cooperation between Riyadh and Athens in the field of energy, electricity production and its transmission to Greece and through this country to Europe.
