Hundreds of American journalists called for a true coverage of the Zionist regime’s crimes

Hundreds of American journalists signed a statement protesting the biased US media coverage of Palestine.

The Turkish Anatolian News Agency reported that 514 American journalists and media activists called for an end to the boycott of the Israeli occupation and the organized repression against the Palestinians.

Among the signatories to the statement are journalists from popular American media outlets such as the Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal and the Los Angeles Times.

In part of the message to journalists, it is emphasized: We have disappointed our readers by covering up the essence of the story of Israel’s military occupation and its racist regime.

The journalists stressed the importance of ending this type of media misconduct that has been prevalent in the United States for decades and a rapid and immediate change in the country’s journalistic approach.

The statement cited a recent 213-page report by Human Rights Watch on April 27, which referred to Israeli crimes of discrimination and repression against the Palestinians.
