Hezbollah to Tel Aviv: You are not allowed to explore for gas

Representatives of the Lebanese Hezbollah movement, in response to the arrival of an “Israeli” ship in the disputed area, stressed that they would not allow the Zionist regime to explore for gas in the area.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency International Group, The Lebanese Hezbollah movement reacted today (Sunday) to the entry of an “Israeli” ship into the “Karish” gas field, which crossed the country’s 29th offshore line.

According to Russia Today, quoting Lebanese sources, Mahmoud Qamati, a member of Hezbollah’s political council, said: We will not allow Israel to explore for gas in the disputed area.

Mohammad Raad, the head of the Coalition for Loyalty to Resistance (Hezbollah) in the Lebanese parliament, also addressed the Lebanese officials: Let’s choose the company of our own free will and agree on it; Let us ask this company to explore for gas in our territorial waters at the time and at the time we specify.

He continued: Anyone who is afraid of the Israeli enemy approaching this company should know that we are careful to respond to them [the Zionists]; But it is not good to put our country in the mortgage of ambitions, factional interests, petty fears and desires to occupy certain positions.

This is while this morning the Lebanese newspaper Al-Nahar reported that an “Israeli” ship has entered the disputed area of ​​Lebanon to extract liquefied natural gas and store it in the Karish gas field, crossing the 29th offshore line.

This has provoked official reactions from Lebanon. Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati warned that the Israeli encroachment on the country’s water resources was dangerous, stating that the movements of the Israeli enemy could lead to tensions with unknown consequences.
