According to news sources, Bani Gantz, the Israeli Minister of War, said in a speech following the political crisis in this regime: Israel is strong against its enemies, but weak inside, fragmented and wounded.
He added: Just as we must protect a “powerful” Israel from external threats, so must we maintain its power at home.
Gantz also claimed: Israel is and will remain good in terms of security. Despite the many concerns that have been raised recently, political considerations will not be taken into account in security matters, and I know that the new government will act with the same security and political responsibilities as the current government.
