France plans to close 7 mosques and associations by the end of the year

French Interior Minister Gerald Darwin has announced plans to close seven mosques and associations by the end of this year on charges of defending “radical Islam”.

The Secretary of State announced in a statement on Tuesday that seven mosques and associations will be closed by the end of the year, claiming that they spread hatred and defend “radical Islam”. He welcomed the decision to close the mosque in Alon on Monday for six months for the same reasons.
