According to this news agency, Party leaders this fall organized events in dozens of American cities to strengthen their base and garner popular support. They will first host an official event on September 24 in Houston, and the party’s first national convention will be held in a major American city next summer.

The new party was formed by merging three political groups that emerged in recent years in response to the gradual polarization of the American political system. The leaders of this party, citing a Gallup poll last year, believe that two-thirds of Americans consider the existence of a third political party necessary.

The three political groups that merged together include the American Renewal Movement, the Forward Party, and the Serve America Movement. The first group was formed in 2021 by former officials in the Republican administrations of Ronald Reagan, George H. W. Bush (father), George W. Bush and Donald Trump.

The Forward Party was also formed by Young, who left the Democratic Party in 2021 to become an independent politician. And finally, the last group is a group of Democrats, Republicans and independents, whose executive director is David Jolly, a former Republican congressman.
