Following the developments in Panjshir; Electricity is connected to Panjshir province

The Afghan Electric Company said in a statement that electricity in Panjshir province was reconnected last night after a two-week outage.

Breshna Electric Company in Afghanistan announced that electricity in Panjshir province has been reconnected after two weeks.

The province’s electricity was cut off as a result of clashes between the Panjshir Front and Taliban forces, which led to the destruction of two towers.

Breshna has stated that it is determined to continue the development of the electric grid in Panjshir and other provinces of Afghanistan as normal.

Earlier, following the siege of Panjshir province by the Taliban, electricity and telecommunication services in the province were cut off.

The Taliban now claim control of Panjshir and the war in the province is over, but the Panjshir Front, led by Ahmad Massoud, says the war is not over and the front will continue to fight.
