Erdogan: The United States is supporting terrorists more than expected

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke after Friday prayers on Friday on various issues, including Ankara’s relations with Moscow, as well as US actions.

According to the Pak Sahafat news agency quoted from Anatolian News Agency, the Turkish President said: “Turkey-US relations as two NATO allies must be in a different situation than it is now.”

Recep Tayyip Erdogan continued: “The United States is now supporting terrorist organizations more than it expected.”

Erdogan also addressed Russia in another part of his remarks, saying: “We seek to strengthen bilateral relations with Russia and achieve $ 100 billion in trade.”

He went on to accuse Damascus of spreading information without mentioning the occupation of the northern regions of Syria, saying: “We have high expectations of the Russian president, especially since the Syrian regime is a threat on our southern borders.”

Turkey has long occupied the northern regions of Syria under the pretext of carrying out operations against Kurdish militias known as the “Syrian Democratic Forces” (QSD) in collaboration with terrorist groups.

Turkey says Kurdish militants are trying to establish Kurdish areas on its southern border.

Many political experts see Turkey’s move as an attempt to bring about ethnic change in Syria’s northern cities and eventually annex them; But Ankara claims it only wants to “reform” the population structure that the Syrian Democratic Forces (USSR) has changed.
