Emergency meeting of the Israeli cabinet on Iran

Israeli news sources reported that the Israeli cabinet will hold an emergency meeting to review the new US administration’s position on the Iranian nuclear issue.

After telephone calls from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Joe Biden, Israeli sources reported today (Thursday) that the prime minister will hold a cabinet meeting tonight to review Washington’s stance on an agreement with Iran.

According to the Zionist newspaper Ma’ariu, in addition to some ministers, two senior members of the Zionist regime’s military institutions will also take part in the meeting, which will be held in the form of a group conversation.

Ma’ariu also reported that senior members of the regime’s foreign ministry would also attend the meeting.

The report comes as Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz recently announced his disagreement with Netanyahu over Iran in an interview with the Israeli network Kahn.

In the conversation, the Israeli Minister of War attacked Netanyahu in the manner of confronting the Iranian nuclear case and his appointment of “Meir bin Shabat” as the head of the so-called Israeli National Security Adviser, as the person in charge of negotiations with the administration of US President Joe Biden. The issue of the Iran nuclear deal was criticized without the participation of other relevant organizations of the regime.

Benny Gantz had said in this regard: “We are not in a presidential system! “Netanyahu is running like a king, so I will try to get all the organizations to comment on this (the election of Meir bin Shabbat).”
