In a letter to the President of the Zionist regime, the President of Azerbaijan called for further development of bilateral relations.
According to Pak Sahafat News Agency International Group, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a letter to the President of the Zionist regime.
The letter states: Over the past 30 years, the cooperation between Azerbaijan and Israel in the political, economic, military-technical, health, cultural and other fields of mutual interest has developed in an upward direction, and our friendly relations have been further strengthened. Today, there are good opportunities to develop and expand cooperation between our countries. I believe that for the benefit of our nations, who have great empathy for each other, we can take advantage of the opportunities available to further deepen our traditional friendly relations and fruitful cooperation through joint efforts.
Aliyev’s letter was written in response to a letter from the Israeli president.
Addressing Ilham Aliyev, Ishaq Herzog said that he wanted the opening of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Israel to pave the way for closer and strategic relations between the two sides.

It should be noted that the carcinogenic influence of the Zionists in the Republic of Azerbaijan, the attempt to separate it from the Islamic world, the attempt to establish its own intelligence and espionage network, and the interception of telephone conversations of Azerbaijani citizens and journalists through the Pegasus spy program are the main causes of deep hatred.
The people of Azerbaijan are also concerned that the Zionist regime will carry out provocative actions against the Islamic Republic of Iran from the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
In this regard, it is not unlikely that the Israeli regime, in the name of participating in the reconstruction of lands near the borders of Iran, including the liberated areas in the 44-day war, will take harmful actions against the neighboring country, and this could cause trouble for the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Therefore, it is not clear whether the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan sent a letter to Ishaq Herzog on behalf of the Azerbaijani people expressing sympathy with Israel or expressing his personal feelings.
