Detention of an employee of the Zionist regime’s Foreign Ministry on charges of spying and travel to Iran

Israeli media have claimed that a student at the regime’s Foreign Ministry College has been arrested on charges of traveling to Iran illegally and spying.

Israeli media reported on Sunday evening that a citizen of the regime had been arrested by the regime’s security services for secretly traveling to Iran.

Israeli TV channel 11 has claimed that an employee of the Israeli Foreign Ministry has been arrested on charges of secret travel to Iran and spying.

The Times of Israel referred to the detainee as a student employed by the Israeli Foreign Ministry and claimed that he was about 20 years old and had been in contact with Iranian intelligence agents during the trip.

According to the report, the Israeli Internal Security Agency (Sheetbat) is currently investigating the trip and other charges against him.

The Times of Israel says that according to the information received, this person traveled to Iran before being admitted to the Israeli Foreign Ministry College.

The lawyer of this person said that his trip to Iran was a tourist trip and this trip was not secret and his friends and family were aware of it.

According to the Times of Israel, travel to Iran is prohibited for citizens of occupied Palestine for any reason and for any purpose.
