Countries in the region have realized that the regional power is Iran, not “Israel”

The series of events in the region over the past four years, including the failure of the US administration’s maximum pressure under Trump and the approach of some Arab countries to relations with Iran, has shown that the regional power is Iran, not Israel.

The Lebanese network Al-Mayadin reported that the countries of the region have realized today that the regional power is Iran, not the Israeli regime.

The network referred to an article on the “Israel Defense” website in this regard, and reported: In the Middle East, there is a perception that Israel is a paper tiger. The failure of the US government to put pressure on Iran and the non-stopping of the nuclear program and then the change of government has made the countries in the region realize that the regional power is Iran and not Israel.

The Lebanese network reported, Riyadh is set to send a representative to Tehran for the inauguration of Iran’s new president, as it has finally realized that the war it has waged against Yemen with advanced Western weapons will endanger the world oil industry by pressing a button in Tehran and against US systems.

According to the report, the Israeli media reported on the movements of Egypt and Saudi Arabia to approach Iran via Iraq and Africa and sea routes, specifically the Suez Canal and the Bab al-Mandeb Strait. Internationally, China is still pursuing warm relations with Iran, and despite US sanctions, China continues to buy Iranian oil.

Al-Mayadin added that, according to the report, the United States was another actor who disappointed hopes during Trump’s time when it raised its expectations of Iran. Because after the end of Trump’s presidency, Iran became stronger and came out of maximum pressure with more military program and enriched uranium. The policy of maximum pressure has hit the Iranian economy hard, but the Iranians have also been able to show great strength in resisting. On the other hand, Trump ended four years without a US military confrontation with Iran, which reinforced the notion that the US feared a military confrontation with Iran, especially after its defeats in Afghanistan and Iraq.
