Compulsory vaccination has puzzled the Pentagon

The Washington Times wrote: The Pentagon’s forced vaccination program against Covid-19 disease has left the US military with a new divisive cultural war that pits individual health decisions against collective action against the deadly ravages of the Corona epidemic.

This media channel added: Following President Joe Biden’s order, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin is deciding on a rapid vaccination program for the military and requirements for coronary testing.

This move will probably not be popular with some of the armed forces.

Despite efforts by Stein and senior military commanders to vaccinate, a number of US soldiers, sailors and pilots have not yet been fully vaccinated. US Department of Defense officials are working harder to vaccinate against the deadly virus, which has increased its spread.

Pentagon statistics show that more than one million soldiers have been fully vaccinated, and by June 30, about 68 percent of troops had received at least one dose of the vaccine.

Attempts to vaccinate are different from cultural wars in many ways, but serious resistance to them shows strong opposition to any order from federal, state, or local governments.

To counter this sentiment, military leaders are implementing a compulsory vaccination program as a way to ensure the health of troops and readiness to defend the country.

The Corona epidemic last year dealt a heavy blow to military preparedness, causing the USS Theodore Roosevelt to shorten a long mission in the Pacific due to inter-crew corona.

The U.S. military has a total of 313,000 cases of corona virus, of which more than 4,300 had to be hospitalized. In all, more than 613,000 Americans have died from coronary heart disease.

Some legal researchers and military analysts say compulsory vaccination can change the mindset of American citizens who are cautious about getting the vaccine.

Unlike the presidency of former US President Donald Trump, in which the top US military commander and Pentagon leaders openly disagreed, Biden and senior military officials apparently agreed on a mandatory vaccination against Covid-19. Experts say the deal could continue.
