China seeks to increase military cooperation with African countries

Pak Sahafat – China’s military advisor to the African Union, in a meeting with the chief of staff of the standby force of the union, emphasized that the Chinese Liberation Army will increase its military cooperation with the African Union countries in order to establish peace and stability in the continent.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency’s report from Xinhua news agency, “Guo Baojian”, China’s military advisor to the African Union, met with “Antonio Lamas Xavier”, the chief of staff of the African Standby Force (ASF) and announced that development in this region requires stability and security.

Guo said: China will increase its military aid to the African Union in the direction of peace and security on the African continent and will cooperate with the African Union in training African standby forces and joint cooperation in countering terrorism.

Antonio Lamas Xavier also called for military cooperation between China and African countries to establish peace and security in the African continent.
