China boycotted the G20 meeting in Indian Kashmir

Pak Sahafat – The Chinese government says it will not participate in the G20 meeting chaired by India, which is scheduled to be held in the disputed region of Jammu and Kashmir in early June.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency’s report, citing the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, in response to a question about whether China will participate in the G20 meeting hosted by India, which is scheduled to be held in the disputed region of Kashmir, Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin said: During a press conference, he clearly stated: China is strongly against holding any G20 meeting in the disputed areas and we do not participate in such meetings.

This meeting is scheduled to be held from June 1st to 3rd.

This short and clear reaction of China will undoubtedly make Pakistanis happy because the ownership of the disputed region of Kashmir has been the main disputed issue between the two countries since 1947, when India and Pakistan gained independence, and there have even been several wars between the two neighboring countries over this issue.

The Indians, who have made a controversial decision to hold the G20 meeting in Kashmir, are concerned about the security situation of this meeting and have taken strict security measures in this area.

Pakistan sees any proposal for a G20 summit in Jammu and Kashmir as an attempt to “give international legitimacy” to India’s sovereignty over the region and last year said member states must be fully aware of the requirements of law and justice.

Islamabad has also sought support from its allies China, Saudi Arabia and Turkey to thwart this Indian move.
