China: America ranks first in the world in terms of espionage

Pak Sahafat – Mao Ning, the spokesperson of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said in a press conference in Beijing on Thursday that the United States ranks first in terms of spying and monitoring the affairs of countries in the world.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency’s report from “Fox News” report, in response to reports published by the United States and Japan that the balloon seen in the American sky is just one of Beijing’s fleet of balloons in different continents, the spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry criticized the way the United States handled this issue.

Mao said: Regarding the balloon issue, the Chinese side has shared its information many times. The unwanted and unexpected entry of the Chinese civilian balloon into the US airspace was completely forced and uncontrollable.

She continued: The Chinese side has clarified this issue many times in connection with the American side, but Washington reacted excessively to this issue by using force. China firmly opposes these actions and criticizes them.

The spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry said: I do not know about the existence of the “fleet of balloons”. This narrative is probably part of America’s information war against China. The international community knows very well which country is in the first position of espionage, eavesdropping and surveillance.

Pentagon: Chinese balloons have flown over Beijing’s favorite American facilities

On Thursday local time, the US House of Representatives unanimously passed a resolution condemning the entry of a Chinese balloon into US airspace as a “flagrant violation of US sovereignty”.

Five days after the US Air Force shot down a Chinese intelligence balloon over the Atlantic Ocean, the US House of Representatives on Thursday voted 419 in favor of the resolution.

American media Axios wrote in a report that an American official claimed that China had flown similar surveillance balloons over more than 40 countries on five continents in the past.

The United States is tracking a suspected Chinese surveillance balloon that has been spotted over the country’s airspace for several days, US officials said on Thursday (February 2 local time).

The first consequence of the discovery and identification of the Chinese intelligence balloon over the airspace of the United States was the postponement of the visit of the Secretary of State Anthony Blinken to Beijing.

Finally, on Saturday evening local time, February 4th, the US military shot down the Chinese balloon, which had increased the tension between Washington and Beijing, with an F-22 fighter off the coast of Carolina.

The US Coast Guard says it has established a temporary security zone in waters off the coast of South Carolina near the crash site of the Chinese balloon and barred vessels from passing near the area.
