Bloody Day of America; Eight killed in Georgia shooting

Hours ago, at least eight people were killed in three shootings at three entertainment clubs in the US state of Georgia.

US media have reported several shootings in three different locations in northwestern Georgia, killing at least eight people.

According to Fox News, citing Georgia State Police officials a series of shootings began at three different hot springs in the Cherokee area, in which a gunman opened fire in a swimming pool, killing four people.

About an hour after the incident, Georgia State Police received calls about a shooting near the Gold Hot Springs in which three women were shot and killed and they received information about a third shooting incident in the “Aromatherapy” hot water hall, in which a woman also lost her life.

According to the report, the suspect in the incident is Robert Aaron Long, a 21-year-old man who has been arrested, according to the Cherokee police.

U.S. police have previously released images of the suspect showing that he is wearing a red and black T-shirt and is riding in a Hyundai truck, and according to a spokesman for the Cherokee Police Department, he may have been involved in all three shootings.

All three hot springs where the shooting took place are reportedly of Asian descent. Police have not yet confirmed the link between the shootings in three different hot springs in Georgia, and the motive behind the shootings is still unknown.

The free flow of weapons in the United States leads to daily shooting-related violence across the United States, with some losing their lives in these incidents, but the arms lobby in the United States is so powerful that Congress has so far taken action to limit it.
