Biden: The United States remains with its Iraqi partner

According to Sky News, US President Joe Biden praised the results of the “Regional Meeting in Support of Iraq” in Baghdad, noting that the diplomacy is part of an effort to reduce tensions between neighboring countries and expand cooperation across the Middle East.

The White House statement said: “The United States remains committed to working with our Iraqi partner to achieve greater stability throughout the Middle East. We remain committed to strengthening our bilateral relations under the Strategic Framework Agreement.”

The statement also quoted Biden as saying: “When we met last month with Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi at the White House Oval Office, we talked about Iraq’s important role in the region and the significant efforts made by the Iraqi government, including the KRG, to improve relations between Iraq and its neighbors. “
