Behind the scenes of the Bennett-Putin meeting, according to the Hebrew media

According to a Hebrew media outlet, Russian President Vladimir Putin ridiculed the demands of Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett and preferred to talk to him only about the situation in Syria.

According to Pak Sahafat International Group, Debka Hebrew language base wrote in a report in this regard: If we take into account the usual goodwill and compliments, it is not thought that Naftali Bennett has achieved a significant result from his meeting with Vladimir Putin.

According to the Hebrew-language media, whenever Bennett wanted to talk about Iran, Putin raised the issue of Syria, the Russian president, in fact, mocked Bennett by calling for the continuation of the privileged relations between Russia and Israel, which ruled during Netanyahu’s time.

In another part of the report, it is stated that although the meeting lasted 5 hours, all the achievements of this meeting can be summarized in a few cases.

Putin did not say a word (at least in the public part of the meeting) about Iran.

Putin’s only words in this regard were when he said without naming Iran, “We will be very happy to discuss regional issues.”

However, the main purpose of Bennett’s visit to Sochi was the issue of Iran, which shows that there is a kind of misunderstanding between Putin and Bennett regarding this issue.

The report added: The Russians were not surprised by remarks made by Israeli officials on the eve of the October 21 meeting, indicating that the Israeli Air Force had resumed training in recent days.

Neither the Russians nor Putin want to hear such threats in any way because they are so experienced that they know there is nothing behind them.

On the other hand, Putin was very focused on the Syrian issue, he announced at the meeting that Russia is rebuilding Syria’s infrastructure, there are problems and issues, but there is also a good opportunity to work together on everything related to the fight against terrorism.

In fact, Putin warned Israel that Israeli attacks would undermine the government of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
