Arab experts: Any coalition against Iran is not in the interests of the Arabs

Pak Sahafat – Arab experts and analysts have not considered any alliance between some Arab countries and the Zionist regime against Iran in their favor and stressed that the public opinion of the Arab world considers this regime an occupier and murderer of the Palestinian people and opposes such a coalition.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency, Al-Jazeera television’s “Mawara al-Khobar” (Beyond the News) program hosted two analysts and political experts from the Arab world to seek their views on regional issues.

Abdullah al-Shayji, a professor of political science at Kuwait University, spoke on the show about some reports that the Americans and Zionists were trying to form a coalition against Iran in the region at the same time as US President Joe Biden’s visit to the region next month.

Al-Shaiji stressed that it is not in the interest of the GCC member states to be in the line of action against Iran or other countries; especially given that negotiations between Iran and Saudi Arabia are progressing and Iran and the UAE have become closer to each other.

He mentioned: The alliance between the Arab countries and Israel is a heavy burden on these countries and the public opinion of the Arab world does not accept such an alliance because Israel is the occupier and is oppressing and killing the Palestinians. In addition, Israel has a shaky cabinet and no way will not be willing to pay for military support to the Arab Gulf countries and other Arab countries.

Two days ago, Jordan’s King Abdullah II said he supported the formation of a NATO-like military coalition in the Middle East.

The Zionist media today quoted unnamed US sources as saying that what was being said about US President Joe Biden’s trip to the Middle East was “NATO to the Middle East or the Israeli alliance.”

According to the Al-Mayadin network, the Zionist media quoted the mentioned American sources as saying: “This is a matter of preparations, arrangements and understandings within the framework of US Central Command (Centcom) responsibility in the Middle East, as Israel joined US Central Command in the Middle East years after joining US Command in Europe.”

Earlier, the Zionist media reported that “the main purpose of US President Joe Biden’s visit to the region is Saudi Arabia, which is aimed at building trust, but ultimately seeks to pave the way for the normalization of relations between Tel Aviv.
