Ansarullah: The release of Saudi pilots depends on the release of Palestinian prisoners in Riyadh

Yemen‘s Ansarullah group has said it is ready to release captured Saudi pilots only if Palestinian prisoners are released.

According to the Al-Masira website, the head of the captives’ affairs committee in the Yemeni Ansarullah group said in a televised interview, referring to the Hamas prisoners who are imprisoned in Saudi Arabia, according to a previous statement by Yemeni Ansarullah leader Abdul Malik al-Houthi: On the other hand, we emphasize that the Saudi pilots will be released from prison only in exchange for the release of Palestinian prisoners in the Saudi prison.

Morteza criticized the UN’s performance, adding that it would not put pressure on the other side to persuade it to take part in the talks, while the Saudi side and the representative of the Southern Front agreed to attend the talks.

He added: “The UAE has hundreds of prisoners from the army and popular committees who have been captured in the south and on the coast.”

Morteza pointed out: In the absence of the UAE in the negotiations, we will consider the Saudi prisoners as the prisoners of the coalition in general, and we will negotiate with them only if the other side suggests that all our prisoners are with them.
