Ansarullah: The Iraq bombings are the work of US-backed groups

The Yemeni Ansarullah movement condemned the cowardly bombings in a statement issued Thursday night in Baghdad, condemning the bombings and saying the bombings were a “pressure” used by the United States through its pro-Riyadh groups.

According to Al-Mayadin, the following is the statement: We strongly condemn the double criminal bombing that targeted a market in Baghdad.

Yemen’s Ansarullah said that the brutal bombings today confirmed that the US intelligence services would once again resume this approach and method [explosion in Iraq].

Yemeni Ansarullah spokesman Mohammad Abdul Salam also condemned the tragedy and wrote in a tweet: While condemning this bloody and criminal explosion in Baghdad, we emphasize that the right of the dear Iraqi people is to regain their security and stability and to expel the American occupying forces from their country.

The Iraqi Ministry of Health announced on Thursday evening that suicide bombers had killed 32 people and wounded 110 in central Baghdad today.

Earlier, Iraqi Interior Ministry spokesman Khalid al-Muhana said details of two suicide bombings in al-Tayran Square today: The first terrorist carrying a suicide belt pretended to be ill and blew himself up when people gathered around him.

He added: “The second terrorist also detonated his suicide belt shortly after people gathered to transport the wounded.”

These explosions have faced a wave of condemnation at home and abroad.

No group or individual has claimed responsibility for the two suicide bombings in Baghdad.
