The US Federal Bureau of Investigation today increased the reward for the arrest of the Taliban interior minister from $ 5 million to $ 10 million.
According to Pak Sahafat news agency, quoted by Sputnik news agency, the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) announced Wednesday that the amount of the reward for each person who provided information leading to the arrest of Sirajuddin Haqqani has been increased to $ 10 million.
According to Sputnik, the Taliban have nominated Sirajuddin Haqqani as the acting head of the Afghan Interior Ministry.
He is on the US blacklist and has previously been offered a $ 5 million ransom for his arrest or murder.
The Taliban have not yet commented on the matter.
