According to the Pak Sahafat News Agency, Amnesty International reported that civilians across Sudan are living in unimaginable terror during the conflict between the army and the Rapid Support Forces.

This human rights organization added in a report that it has published details on its website: war crimes are being committed on a large scale in Sudan.

In this report, War Crimes and Civilian Suffering in Sudan, massive civilian casualties in deliberate attacks by warring parties are documented.

Earlier, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations “FAO” announced that more than 20 million and 300 thousand people, which constitute more than 42% of the population of Sudan, are facing acute food insecurity.

The latest figures from the International Organization for Migration show that more than three million people have been displaced inside Sudan, and another million have sought refuge across its borders to neighboring countries.

Armed conflicts in Sudan have started since April 15 between the army forces and the Rapid Support Forces over power, and international mediations to end it and bring the conflicting parties to the negotiating table have not been fruitful.

So far, a ceasefire has been announced several times in Sudan with the mediation of Saudi Arabia and the United States, but the conflicting parties continue to violate it.
