American analyst: False ideology of white supremacy is the main cause of armed violence in America

An American analyst examines gun violence and its connection to the ideology of white racial superiority in the United States.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency International Group, in the wake of the recent deadly shootings in the United States, American analyst Lindsay Spencer investigated the violence and its connection to the ideology of white racial superiority.

He writes in his analysis: The latest statistics show that there have been more than 200 deadly shootings in the United States this year. These shootings have increased dramatically in recent years, from 417 in 2019 to 610 in 2020 and 692 in 2021. After each shooting incident, the questions arise as to how these events occur and how they can be prevented. The answers to these endless questions indicate a major problem in American history: The problem of white racial superiority.

In 2021, Attorney General Merrick Garland and members of the Department of Homeland Security told the Senate that the greatest threat to domestic security is domestic terrorism, especially those who advocate a philosophy of white racial superiority. Many prominent American figures, such as former Trump’s White House strategist Steve Benn, are proponents of this philosophy.

When some prominent politicians support this view, it means that some people are inclined to violence against blacks. Exposure to such violence creates toxic and intolerable environments and poses a threat to societal peace.

The ideology of white racial superiority in America is very detrimental to our democracy, and the evidence of American political and social history clearly shows that this ideology systematically perpetuates perpetual violence in society. There is a root cause for almost every act of violence in American history, old and new: white racial superiority.

The Guardian: Racial Violence in America on the Upward Curve

We learn from this ideology and the violent and deadly armed attacks in American history that the root of all this kind of violence lies in this ideology. Deadly violence and shootings in El Paso, Texas, Buffalo, New York, and many other US states and cities suggest that racial superiority is an undeniable fact of life. When we ask ourselves why such incidents occur, we can conclude that deadly armed violence is directly and effectively linked to the continuation of the white supremacist philosophy.

On the other hand, the root of the continuation of this philosophy is related to the arms lobbies and the inability of the US regime to pass the gun control law. Overcoming the culture of weapons in the United States is not easy, and its intrinsic connection to the racial superiority of whites and the historical power of gun lobbies makes it very difficult to address.

In the past month, two deadly shootings have taken place in the United States, in one of which a white man attacked a supermarket in Buffalo, killing 11 people, 10 of them black. An 18-year-old attacker also attacked an elementary school in Texas, killing 19 school children and two teachers.

In all, there have been 27 shootings in US schools since the beginning of 2022, killing and injuring more than 83 people. It is interesting to know that with the growing trend of shooting in US schools and after 60 years, guns have become the leading cause of death for American children, surpassing cars and car accidents, and these days more than 90% of children aged 5 to 14 year in which about 30 richest countries in the world are killed by gunfire are from the United States.

Former US President Donald Trump also said in a speech to the association that we should increase the level of school security instead of passing a law restricting access to weapons in the United States.

Senator Ted Cruz also claimed that social harms such as reduced church attendance, violent video games, addictive drugs and social media violence caused deadly shootings in the United States and had nothing to do with gun control.
