Meanwhile, the Foreign Minister of Ukraine, Dmytro Kulba, announced earlier that Kiev is worried about the recent threats of senior American Republican lawmakers to cut off aid to Ukraine if they gain control of the House of Representatives in next month’s mid-term elections.

Previously, Kevin McCarthy, the minority leader of the US House of Representatives, said in an interview with Punchbowl News last week that the Republicans will not sign a blank check to Ukraine during the economic recession.

At the beginning of Russia’s war with Ukraine, American aid to Kiev was supported by both parties in this country, but recently Republicans in the House of Representatives have expressed doubts about providing more military support as the war drags on.

In May, 57 Republicans in the House of Representatives voted “no” to the $40 billion US aid package to Ukraine.
