Algerian analyst: France is moving towards a military attack in Niger

Pak Sahafat – An Algerian analyst told Sputnik news agency on Friday night that France is moving towards military action in Niger.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency, Abd al-Rahman bin Sharit added that this French program may overshadow the relations between Paris and Algeria as well as the countries of this region.

He added that France has no other method than the usual military action against African countries, and this issue makes it implement it soon.

Ben Sharit said: “All the groups on the African continent are tired of the French policy, which is based on violence in the Sahel region and the appointment of leaders who work to the detriment of African nations and to the benefit of Paris.”

Sahel is a region with similar climate and biodiversity that is located between the Great African Sahara and the Sudanese savannah. This region in North Africa stretches from the Atlantic Ocean to the Red Sea.

The name of the beach is derived from the Arabic word and the reason for the name is that the pastures of this area remain like a beach next to the sand dunes.

The coast includes areas of northern Senegal, southern Mauritania, central Mali, southern Algeria and Niger, central Chad, southern Sudan, northern South Sudan, and Eritrea.

This statement of Ben Sharit comes while Niger’s military council warned on Thursday that it will respond to any attack on the country by the ECOWAS countries (West African Economic Community).

In this regard, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Algeria emphasized on Friday the necessity of using all diplomatic and peaceful ways in Niger and avoiding the option of resorting to force.

Niger’s presidential body also announced: The presidential guard took action against the country’s republic this morning, and the army is ready to attack the presidential guard if it does not abandon the arrest of the president. President Mohammad Bazum and his family, who are under the custody of the members of the presidential guard, passed away safely.

Niger’s military announced on the country’s state television that the borders were closed and curfews were imposed after the removal of President Mohammad Bazoum.
