A Russian company signed a 45-year tourism investment contract with Syria

Pak Sahafat – On Wednesday, the Syrian Latakia City Council signed a 45-year investment contract in the field of tourism in the Jol Jamal area with the Russian company Sinara ENT.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency from the official Syrian news agency; Sana This contract was signed by Hossein Khalid Zanjarli, the head of the Latakia City Council, and Dmitri O’Barin, the CEO of the Russian company Sinara ENT, in the presence of the Syrian Minister of Tourism, Mohammad Rami Murtini.

The investment contract of Jol Jamal tourism area with the aim of building a 4-star tourism complex, which includes more than 300 hotel rooms, has been signed between Latakia Municipality and a Russian company.

The Minister of Tourism of Syria told reporters after the signing ceremony of this contract: The signing of this contract will be done within the framework of strengthening strategic economic, social, cultural and people relations and activating areas of joint cooperation between Damascus and Moscow.

Mertini added that the Russian company has provided all the facilities for the successful signing of this contract, which will generate a certain amount of income for the benefit of the Latakia City Council and help the rapid development of the arrival of Russian tourists to Syria.

The managing director of the Russian company also said: This contract is important for us and for the Syrian economy and its reconstruction process.

The head of Latakia city council also explained about this: this contract will have positive effects on the city council’s income and will also strengthen the domestic tourism trend.

He added that the Jol Jamal investment contract based on BOT investment will be implemented for 45 years from the date of the contract.
