The Iranian ambassador offered his condolences on the death of the former President of Pakistan

ISLAMABAD – The ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Islamabad has expressed his condolences on the death of former Pakistani President Mamnoon Hussain.

According to IRNA, “Seyyed Mohammad Ali Hosseini” wrote on his Twitter account on Thursday: “I offer my condolences on the death of Mamnoon Hussain, former President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and I ask God’s forgiveness for the deceased.”

The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran also expressed his condolences to the family of the late President of Pakistan.

Mamnoon Hussain, 80, who was hospitalized in a Karachi hospital for the past two weeks due to cancer, died last night.

He was born on January 23, 1969 in the city of Agra in the Indian subcontinent. After Pakistan’s separation from India, Mamnoon Hussain and his family moved to Pakistan.

Mamnoon Hussain, a member of the Nawaz branch of the Muslim League, was elected the twelfth president of Pakistan in 2013, and ended his term in the summer of 2018 after five years.
