Pakistan’s emphasis on global unity to fight Islamophobia

Pak Sahafat – The Prime Minister of Pakistan emphasized the global unity to deal with the phenomenon of Islamophobia and added: Repeated insults to the sacred things of Muslims in the West have offended us.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency’s report, “Shahbaz Sharif” condemned this heinous act in a message in response to the repetition of the evil desecration of the Holy Quran in Denmark.

He added: We are offended by repeated insults to the Holy Quran in Europe and this action must be condemned by the civilized world.

The Prime Minister of Pakistan said that the repetition of these insulting actions emphasizes the urgent need that confronting Islamophobia requires global unity.

Last week in different cities of Pakistan, people demonstrated against the intensification of anti-Islamism in Europe after performing Friday prayers and strongly condemned the continuous attacks of the extremist forces of the West on the holy area of the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, and the desecration of the Holy Quran.

At the same time as the representatives of the Senate and National Assemblies of Pakistan passed resolutions condemning the repetition of offensive actions against Islamic sanctities, they asked the government of Islamabad to immediately summon the ambassadors of Sweden and the Netherlands to convey the protest of the people of Pakistan to the recent anti-Islamic crimes.

In recent days, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan has strongly condemned the insulting of the Holy Quran in Sweden, Holland and Denmark and announced: Undoubtedly, such Islamophobic actions are a provocative crime under the pretext of freedom of speech.
