We will never recognize the Zionist regime
Pakistani Senate Speaker assures Speaker of Arab Parliament that Islamabad will never recognize Zionist regime
The Speaker of the Senate of Pakistan in a meeting with the Speaker of the Arab Parliament stressed: Islamabad is a defender of the rights of the Palestinian people and the liberation of the occupied territories and will never recognize the usurping Zionist regime.
On Monday in Islamabad, Mohammad Sadegh Sanjarani met with Adel al-Assumi, Speaker of the Arab Parliament and the accompanying delegation, and explained the positions of the Pakistani government and parliament on developments in the Middle East, the defense of the Palestinian issue, the Kashmir conflict and relations with Arab member states.
He added that Pakistan’s foreign policy is based on communication and partnership for economic and social development in the region and the reflection of the message of peace to all.
Sanjarani stressed: “We support the legitimate demands of the Palestinians, namely the liberation of the occupied territories and the establishment of an independent state, and we defend the rights of the oppressed Palestinian people.”
“Pakistan does not recognize the Israeli regime at any cost, and like the Muslim people of Kashmir, we stand by the Palestinian people,” he said.
The Speaker of the Pakistani Senate also called for a peaceful settlement of the Palestinian and Kashmir issues in accordance with UN Security Council resolutions.
The Speaker of the Arab Parliament arrived in the capital Islamabad yesterday at the invitation of the Speaker of the Senate of Pakistan for a five-day visit.
Sanjarani stressed: “We support the legitimate demands of the Palestinians, namely the liberation of the occupied territories and the establishment of an independent state, and we defend the rights of the oppressed Palestinian people.”
