Pakistani Foreign Minister: International security forces to be sent to Palestine

The Pakistani foreign minister described the inability of UN Security Council members to establish a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip as “terrible” and said that the United Nations should send an international security force to Palestine to protect civilians.

Speaking at the UN General Assembly on Thursday to discuss the situation in Palestine following the crimes of the Zionist regime, King Mahmoud Qureshi said: Knows beyond any law.

He added: “Even at the moment when the extraordinary session of the UN General Assembly is underway, the attack on occupied Palestine continues and the Israeli army is massacring Palestinian children and women.

Qureshi stressed: “The inability of the UN Security Council to establish world peace and security, especially the establishment of a ceasefire in Gaza, is very terrible, while those who obstruct the actions of the Security Council have a heavy responsibility.”

He stressed: “We call for the strict implementation of the UN Security Council resolutions to resolve the Palestinian issue, and we emphasize that Quds Sharif is the capital of an independent and free Palestinian state.”

After the UN Security Council came to a standstill due to US unilateralism in its unwavering support for the Zionist regime and giving the green light to commit more crimes, Islamic countries met with the chairman of the 75th UN General Assembly to call for a referendum.

The meeting is so important that it is held at the level of foreign ministers, and even some foreign ministers, such as Algeria, Palestine, Qatar and Norway, have arrived at the UN headquarters.
