According to the correspondent of Fars News Agency’s regional offices; Emphasizing that they will not be able to accommodate refugees inside the cities, Pakistani officials have said that we need 2.2 billion euros in financial assistance for the reception and accommodation of 700,000 refugees.

Accordingly, the federal cabinet postponed the adoption of a new policy on Afghan refugees.

Under the new federal cabinet draft policy on Afghan refugees, Pakistan needs 2.2 billion euros in international funding to host 700,000 Afghan refugees, declaring refugees “internally displaced.”

The policy was presented by the Ministry of Tribal Areas for approval at the last cabinet meeting. Earlier, between May and July, the Committee of Ministers held four meetings on this policy.

According to the draft, the accommodation and hosting of 700,000 refugees over 2 years will cost 2.2 billion, including registration, transportation, camp construction and other costs.
