A Pakistan foreign ministry spokesman said Islamabad was not interested in any of the parties involved in Afghanistan.

According to the correspondent of Fars News Agency’s regional offices; “Pakistan is not interested in any of the parties involved in Afghanistan,” said Zahed Hafiz Chaudhry, a spokesman for Pakistan’s foreign ministry.
“We will continue to play a constructive role in the Afghan peace process,” he said.
“Unfortunately, some media outlets have misquoted the recent remarks of Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi about the need for peace and stability in Afghanistan through an Afghan-led and Afghan-owned process,” a Pakistani foreign ministry spokesman said.
“The foreign minister has actually talked about the international consensus, the regional actors and the Afghans themselves against the threat of terrorism,” he said.
According to Chaudhry, the foreign minister’s remarks can in no way be seen as partisan support in the Afghan conflict.
He added that all forces should focus on finding a comprehensive, comprehensive and comprehensive political solution to the Afghan conflict.
