General Shabir Ahmad Noorijo, Commander of Pakistan Anti-Drug Force visits Iran

During his visit to Iran, he will meet with his Iranian counterpart and other senior officials to discuss ways to curb drug trafficking, especially in matters related to the common border between the two countries.

General Shabir Ahmad Nourijo, Commander of Pakistan’s Anti-Narcotics Force, has arrived in Tehran on a visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran at the invitation of his Iranian counterpart, Brigadier General Majid Karimi.

General Shabbir Ahmad Nourijo left Islamabad International Airport for Tehran on Sunday morning.

During his visit to Iran, he will meet with his Iranian counterpart and other senior officials to discuss ways to curb drug trafficking, especially in matters related to the common border between the two countries.

It is noteworthy that the United Nations has declared the Islamic Republic of Iran as a pioneer in the fight against drugs, which has so far sacrificed the blood of hundreds of its soldiers to prevent drug trafficking.
